Logistics Support

LOGTEC provides logistics support activities related to the concept definition, design, development, production, operation, maintenance, training for, and support of various weapon systems being acquired. These activities include the full range of logistics actions required to analyze problems, define alternative solutions, provide recommended courses of action, and provide written reports. We perform logistics studies, resource requirements analyses (manpower, spares, etc.), readiness assessments, cost analyses (including trade studies), and comparative logistics/cost trade-offs of specific problems or areas of emphasis. These studies address the support system or weapon system/subsystem/component design, concept definition, development, production, modification, operations, maintenance, or training. LOGTEC conducts specialized analyses on life-cycle cost, logistics supportability, and warranty. In addition, LOGTEC provides a wide range of supply operations services including customer service, stock control, document control, hazardous material pharmacy, equipment management, mission support, computer operations, and a number of other traditional services.

Experience

• Supporting development of the Air Force’s Global Combat Support Systems (GCSS-AF) development program which includes seamless supply definition, logistics systems modernization road mapping, and standard base supply system modernization
• Providing support to the Air Force Logistics Management System Modernization Program since the mid-1980s
• Supporting the implementation of the Air Force Materiel Command's (AFMC's) depot-level repair enhancement programs that include the Aircraft Repair Enhancement Program (AREP), Contractor Repair Enhancement Program (CREP), Depot Repair Enhancement Program (DREP), and Whole Engine Repair Enhancement Program (WEREP)
• Assisting the Air Force to integrate the Materiel Systems Group (MSG) software systems into the Depot Maintenance Accounting and Production System (DMAPS) process
• Providing interface support for the GCSS-AF and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) programs
• Providing Army Standard Depot System (SDS) maintenance support, including Shop Floor Data Collection System (DCS) implementation plans for Army depots
• Providing Air Force acquisition logistics support contractor for weapon systems since 1988 including the F-22, Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS), C-17, B-2, training systems, CV-22, AC-130U Gunship, C-130J, Combat Talon II, F-15, T-1A, and Advanced Tactical Air Reconnaissance System (ATARS)
• Supporting NAVAIR MRP-II implementation at Jacksonville, Florida, and North Island, California
• Providing functional requirements support for the Joint Ammunition Management Standard System (JAMSS) Program
• Accomplished repair-level analyses, maintenance planning, and contractor logistics support studies for the F-22, Joint STARS, C-17, B-2, and fighter engines
