Michael E. Zettler
President

In January 2004, Mr. Zettler joined LOGTEC as the company’s fifth president. He has an extensive background in logistics and installation services management. He came to LOGTEC after serving over 33 years with the United States Air Force, culminating in his last assignment as a Lieutenant General and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Installations and Logistics, Headquarters United States Air Force, Washington, D.C. He was the senior Air Force official responsible for management and integration of Air Force civil engineering, communications operations, services, supply, transportation, maintenance, and munitions policies.

   
   
   


Mary S. Sherman
Senior Vice President, Corporate Operations


Ms. Sherman joined LOGTEC in September 1986. She held progressive management positions in contracting and accounting. She was named Vice President, Finance, in 1991; Vice President, Business Management, in 1993; and Senior Vice President, Corporate Operations in 2005. Ms. Sherman ensures the company remains financially strong to meet LOGTEC’s short- and long-term growth objectives. Ms. Sherman is responsible for guiding the Human Resources directorate, which provides both recruiting and employee relations services. She is responsible for developing and implementing LOGTEC’s affirmative action and equal opportunity programs. She leads the Finance and Contracts directorates in establishing policy and strategies in the accounting, purchasing, and contracting areas. She participates actively in the proposal process for obtaining new contracts and new business by establishing goals and developing strategies. Ms. Sherman also has responsibility for the Business Services directorate that maintains the company facilities and provides security, editing, administrative, and conference support. She also maintains an in-house graphic arts department to meet many of the company’s publishing requirements. Ms. Sherman also maintains a directorate responsible for the company IT infrastructure, integrated information systems, and web pages. Ms. Sherman has a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. In April 2003, Ms. Sherman was honored to be a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. This award, sponsored by the Dayton Business Journal, honors 40 of the region’s brightest young leaders under the age of 40 for their leadership qualities, success in business, and community involvement.

   
   


Gary A. Kowal
Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Kowal is responsible for the marketing efforts for LOGTEC. He has over 20 years of Information Technology experience and 15 years of marketing expertise encompassing the commercial, federal, state, and local government sectors. He also possesses extensive experience in the areas of program management and logistics support. He is a Certified Practitioner of Inventory Management (CPIM). Mr. Kowal has an undergraduate degree in Marketing and a Master’s of Business Administration degree in Accounting.

   


Jeanne Zekowski
Vice President, Weapon Systems Acquisition Support


Ms. Zekowski, who joined LOGTEC in 1992, is responsible for the operations of LOGTEC’s Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) Weapons Systems Acquisition Support Division. She has over 29 years of experience in DoD programs, including 12 years in civil service (separating as a GM-14) acquiring new Air Force weapon systems at ASC, and 17 years of DoD support contract industry experience. Ms. Zekowski has a Master’s degree in Business Management, is a graduate of the Program Management Course (Defense Systems Management College), and has completed Air Command and Staff College and Air War College. Her responsibilities include maintaining effective communication with clients, managing projects, and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the Air Force acquisition environment.

 


Gary J. Zuber
Vice President, Emerging Technologies


Mr. Zuber joined LOGTEC in January 1999 as a Managing Director with responsibility for a portfolio of database and data warehouse-related projects for the Department of Defense. In his present role as Vice President of Emerging Technologies, Mr. Zuber’s corporate objectives involve research, development, and deployment of innovative information technology solutions to business and Government clients. His responsibilities include management and oversight of information technology projects to ensure satisfaction of client requirements within prescribed cost projections. In 1977, Mr. Zuber began an extensive career in computer system design and software development for manufacturing, retail, insurance, and government enterprises. He has served in many roles, including programmer, systems administrator, database administrator, systems architect, project manager, and director, with progressively larger and more complex responsibilities. Mr. Zuber earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
